(Miami, FL) - In the National League Tuesday, Homer Bailey won for the first time since mid-April in the Cincinnati Reds 6-2 win over the Miami Marlins at Marlins Park.
Bailey tossed nine-innings and struck out ten in improving to 2-3.
Bailey allowed two-runs on the night, an RBI single in the first-inning and a sacrifice fly in the seventh.
Brandon Phillips batted-in two runs to increase his RBI total to 33, the most in the National League.
Joey Votto went 3-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
The Reds are 23-16 and play the Marlins tonight at 7:10.
