(St. Louis, MO) - In the National League Sunday, The St. Louis Cardinals beat former teammate Kyle Loshe for the second time this season with a 4-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Busch Stadium.
The Cardinals manufactured a four-run, fourth inning in winning the weekend series against the Brewers while sending Loshe to 1-5 this year.
The 34-year-old righty signed with Milwaukee in the offseason after spending the previous five seasons in St. Louis.
John Gast improved to 2-and-oh by pitching into the sixth inning and allowing two-runs.
John Jay went 2-4 including an RBI double in the fourth that made it 2-0 Cardinals.
The Cardinals are 28-15 and begin a West coast road trip tonight against the San Diego Padres.
First pitch is at 10:10.
