(Chicago, IL) - In the American League Monday, the Chicago White Sox opened a three-game homestand against the Boston Red Sox with a 6-4 win at US Cellular Field.
Adam Dunn hit his 11th home run of the season, a three-run blast in the first inning, in helping Chicago send Boston starter John Lester to his first loss of the season.
Lester fell to 6-1 after pitching six-innings and allowing five-earned runs.
The White Sox are 20-23 and play Boston tonight at 8:10.
