(Miami, FL) - LeBron James scored 16 of his game-high 30 points in the third quarter as the Miami Heat defeated the Indiana Pacers 90-79 in Game Five of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Miami leads the best-of-seven series three games to two with Game Six tomorrow in Indianapolis.
James' explosion in the third allowed the Heat to pull away as they outscored the Pacers 30-13 in the period.
Udonis Haslem hit eight of his nine shots from the field and finished with 16 points for Miami. Paul George led Indiana with 27 points and eleven rebounds with Roy Hibbert finishing with 22 points and David West adding 17.
Indiana's backcourt of Lance Stephenson and George Hill combined for just five points.
A win by Miami tomorrow night will send the Heat to the NBA Finals against San Antonio while a Pacers victory will force a decisive Game Seven Monday night in Miami.
