(Indianapolis, IN) - Former Colts’ quarterback Jim Harbaugh will drive the pace car during Sunday’s 97th running of the Indianapolis 500.
Harbaugh was inducted into the Colts' Ring of Honor in 2005 and coached the San Francisco 49rs to a Superbowl appearance last season.
He is co-owner of Indianapolis based Panther Racing, an open wheel racing team that will feature Townsend Bell and JR Hildebrand in Sunday's race.
