(Charlotte, NC) - In NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series Sunday, Kevin Harvick pulled away on a restart with 11-laps to go to win the Coca-Cola 600 for the second time in three seasons.
The race was stopped nearly a quarter of the way in after a TV camera fell on a crowd of spectators in the grandstands. Ten people were injured and three were treated and released at Charlotte hospitals. None of the injuries are considered life threatening.
Kasey Kahne finished second after leading a race high 156-laps. Kurt Busch came-in third, Denny Hamlin fourth, and Joey Logano fifth.
Indiana drivers Ryan Newman and Tony Stewart finished sixth and seventh, respectively.
Points leader Jimmie Johnson came in 22nd. Carl Edwards in second in points and Matt Kenseth is third.
The Sprint Cup seasons continues this Sunday at Dover International Speedway.
