(New York, NY) - In the National League Tuesday, Mike Leake and two-relievers combined to shutout out the New York Mets during a 4-0 win by the Cincinnati Reds at Citi Field in New York.
Leake improved to 4-2 after three-hitting the Mets through seven-innings.
The Reds jumped out to an early 2-0 lead when Mets' third baseman David Wright committed an error that allowed Joey Votto and Brandon Phillips to score.
The Reds are 28-18 and can finish a three-game sweep of the Mets this afternoon.
First pitch is at 1:10.
