(St. Louis) - In the National League Wednesday, Lance Lynn became the National League’s first, five-game winner by pitching the St. Louis Cardinals to a 4-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds at Busch Stadium.
Lynn is 10-0 in his last ten-starts after holding Cincinnati to one-run over seven-innings pitched.
The Reds are 15-14 and begin a three game series tomorrow afternoon against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
The Cardinals are first in the NL Central division at 16-11 and begin a four game series tonight at the Milwaukee Brewers.
First pitch is at 8:10.
