(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Pacers took a 3-2 lead in their playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks by pulling away for a 106-83 victory at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Wednesday night.
David West keyed an 8-0 run that gave Indiana a five point lead in the second quarter and finished with 24 points on the night.
West shot above 50 percent for just the second time in the playoffs and led the Pacers to an easy win in a pivotal game five in the best of seven series.
The Pacers can end a 13 game losing streak in Atlanta and advance to the Eastern Conference semi-finals by beating the Hawks Friday night at Philips Arena.
Tipoff is at 7:00.
