(Cincinnati, OH) - In Major League Baseball Tuesday, Xavier Paul led an offensive barrage and Mat Latos remained undefeated as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Cleveland Indians 8-2 at Great American Ballpark.
Paul went 3-fo-4 and had a two-run single in the first inning that gave the Reds a 3-0 lead.
Latos improved to 5-0 after pitching into the sixth inning, striking out seven, and allowing one-run.
The Reds have the second best record in baseball at 33-19.
The series resumes at Progressive Field tonight at 7:05.
