(undated) - In the American League Tuesday, Jake Peavy turned in another strong performance and the Chicago White Sox beat the Minnesota Twins for the first time this season, 4-2 at Target Field in Minneapolis.
Peavy improved to 5-1 after limiting Minnesota to two-runs over seven-innings pitched and hasn't lost a start since early April.
Adam Dunn and Dayan Viciedo hit back-to-back home runs in the second-inning for a 2-0 White Sox lead.
The White Sox are 16-21 and play the Twins this afternoon at 1:10.
