(Philadelphia, PA) - In the American League Tuesday, the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Cleveland Indians 6-2 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
Johnathon Pettibone pitched six and two thirds innings, the longest in five career starts, and remained unbeaten since his callup from Triple-A in late April.
Kevin Frandsen and Domonic Brown homered for the Phillies, who were outscored by the Indians 20-2 in the two previous meetings between the teams this season.
The Indians are 21-17 and play the Phillies today for the last time this season at 1:05.
