(St. Louis, MO) - In the National League Sunday, the Colorado Rockies’ offense finally came alive and Jorge De La Rosa pitched a gem during an 8-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium.
Troy Tulowitzki ended the Rockies 28-inning scoreless streak with a three-run blast in the third-inning.
De La Rosa improved to 4-3 and had a no-hitter in the seventh inning until David Freese hit a two-out single for the Cardinals.
The Cardinals are 23-13 and continue their homestand tonight against the New York Mets at 7:00.
