(Kansas City, KC) - In the American League Sunday, the Kansas City Royals beat the Chicago White Sox 6-5 after a ninth inning rally and a game winning base hit in the tenth at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
Billy Butler drove in two-runs in the ninth with a two-strike, two-out double to tie the game at five.
Alex Gordon hit the an RBI single in the tenth off of Brian Omogrosso to give Kansas City their eleventh come from behind win in 17 victories this season.
The White Sox can avoid a sweep by winning this afternoon's makeup game in Kansas City, a postponement from Friday because of freezing rain.
