(Arlington, TX) In the American League Wednesday, the Chicago White Sox ended a three-game losing streak by defeating the Texas Rangers 5-2 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
Chris Sale improved to 3-2 after striking out seven through seven-innings pitched.
Connor Gillaspie and Alejandro De Aza each homered for the Sox in the seventh, handing the first-place Rangers their third loss in four games.
The series concludes tonight in Arlington. First pitch is at 8:05.
