(Chicago, IL) - On Sunday, the Chicago White Sox leveled their record at five-hundred after beating the Miami Marlins 5-to-3 at U-S Cellular Field.
Adam Dunn hit his twelfth home run of the season in the first inning, a two-run shot that gave Chicago a 2-to-nothing lead.
Dylan Axelrod improved to 3-and-3 on the year by pitching into the sixth inning and limiting the Marlins to three-runs.
The White Sox are 24-and-24 and begin an interleague series against the Chicago Cubs tonight. First pitch from U-S Cellular Field is at 7:10.
