(Baltimore, MD) In the American League Monday, Michael Brantley homered and had four RBIs, and the Cleveland Indians powered past the Baltimore Orioles 5-2 at Camden Yards in Baltimore.
Brantley gave the Indians a 3-2 lead in the sixth inning with a two-run single to centerfield, and made it 5-2 in the eighth with a two-run homer over the right field wall.
Cleveland is 39-36 and trail the Detroit Tigers by three and-a-half games for first place in the American League Central Division.
The Indians play the Orioles at 7:05 tonight.
