(Chicago, IL) - In the National League Thursday, the Chicago Cubs ended a record home losing streak against the Cincinnati Reds with a 6-5 win in 14-innings at Wrigley Field.
Julio Borbon drove in the winning run in the bottom of-the-fourteenth inning with a pinch-hit single to shallow left field.
The Cubs had lost 12-straight games against the Reds at Wrigley Field, the longest home losing to a single team in club history.
The Cubs are 26-38 and begin a series at the New York Mets tonight at 7:10.
The Reds are 40-27 after taking three-of-four games against the Cubs and host the Milwaukee Brewers tonight at 7:10.
