(undated) - In the National League Wednesday, Paul Goldschmidt of the Arizona Diamondbacks led a thrashing of the St. Louis Cardinals bullpen in a 10-3 win by Arizona at Busch Stadium.
Goldschmidt hit a grand slam in the seventh inning to give the Diamondbacks a 7-1 lead and raised his RBI total to 53, best in the National League.
Arizona's first baseman beat the Cardinals Tuesday night with an RBI single in the top of-the-fourteenth inning, giving the NL West leaders their first of two consecutive wins over the best team in baseball.
The Cardinals are 38-21 and conclude their four-game set against the Diamondbacks tonight at Busch Stadium.
First pitch is at 7:15.
