(Miami, FL) The Miami Heat eliminated the Indiana Pacers from the Eastern Conference Finals Monday night with a 99-76 win at American Airlines Arena in Miami.
The Heat will appear in the championship round of the NBA playoffs for the third straight season after closing out Indiana in game-seven of the best-of-seven series.
Lebron James had 32 points and eight-rebounds for the Heat and forced Pacers' All-Star Paul George into his second worst playoff performance this season.
George fouled-out early in the fourth quarter and finished with seven-points on 2-9 shooting. Roy Hibbert had 18-points and eight-rebounds and also spent the second half of the game in foul trouble.
The Pacers jumped out to a 12-6 lead in the first quarter, but 15-first half turnovers allowed the Heat to build a 52-37 lead at intermission.
The Heat will play the San Antonio Spurs in game-one of the NBA Finals Thursday night in Miami.
The Pacers finish the season with a 49-32 record.
