(Seattle, WA) - In the American League Monday, Raul Ibanez hit the game deciding home run during the Seattle Mariners 4-2 win over the Chicago White Sox at Safeco Field in Seattle.
Ibanez launched a two-run shot off of John Danks in the third inning, his tenth home run of the year, in giving Seattle a 4-1 lead.
Danks was charged with three-runs and fell to oh-and-two for the White Sox.
Adam Dunn started a brief rally in the ninth with a two-out, RBI single that made it 4-2 Mariners, but Tom Wilhelmsen got Jeff Keppinger to fly out for his 13th save of the season.
The White Sox play the Mariners tonight at 10:10.
