(undated) - In the American League Tuesday, the Cleveland Indians rallied in the eighth inning to beat the Kansas City Royals 4-3 at Progressive Field.
The Indians trailed 3-1 in the eighth inning when Michael Bourn drove in a run with an RBI single.
Bourn crossed the plate later in the inning on a double by Jason Kipnis, and the Indians grabbed the lead for the first time in the game on a sacrifice fly by Michael Brantley.
The Indians are back at five-hundred at 35-35 and lead the Royals by a half game for second place in the AL Central.
The two teams play again tonight at 7:05.
