(Minnesota, MN) - In the American League Tuesday, Joe Mauer had three-hits and a home run during the Minnesota Twins 7-5 win over the Chicago White Sox at Target Field.
Mauer hit a two run homer in the first inning and accounted for the tiebreaking run when Ryan Doumit laced a two-run double in the eighth that gave the Twins a 7-5 advantage.
Paul Konerko went 4 for 4 and Conor Gillaspie hit a two run shot in the second inning for the White Sox.
Chicago is 29-39 and will play Minnesota tonight at 8:10.
