(St. Louis, MO) - In the National League Wednesday, Yadier Molina hit a tiebreaking home run in rallying the St. Louis Cardinals past the Chicago Cubs 4-1 at Busch Stadium.
Molina gave the Cardinals a 3-1 lead with a two-run shot in the sixth inning off of Cubs' starter Edwin Jackson.
The St. Louis catcher is 6 for 11 in his last three-games against the Cubs and leads the majors in batting average at three sixty-five.
Chicago is 29-41 on the year, 2-3 against the Cardinals, and wrap up a seven-game road swing in St. Louis tonight.
The Cardinals are 46-26, lead the NL Central by two and-a-half games, and conclude their four-game series against the Cubs tonight.
First pitch from Busch Stadium is at 8:15.
