(Detroit, MI) - In the IZOD Indycar Series, Simon Pagenaud took advantage of multiple restarts to win the second of two street races at Belle Isle in Detroit Sunday.
Pagenaud finished 5.6 seconds in front of James Jakes to win the first Indycar race of his career.
Jakes finished second, and Mike Conway, who opened the two race weekend at Belle Isle with a win on Saturday, came in third.
Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti gave team Ganassi a fourth and fifth place finish in the second race.
The series continues Saturday night with the Firestone 550 at Texas Motor Speedway.
