(Chicago, IL) - In the National League Tuesday, the Cincinnati Reds won for the 11th straight time at Wrigley Field by routing the Chicago Cubs 12-to-2.
Todd Fraizer gave Cincinnati a 1-to-nothing lead in the first inning with the first of three home runs for the Reds. Joey Votto hit a two-run shot in the third inning and went 2-for-4 on the night with two-RBIs, and Xavier Paul keyed a six-run, sixth inning for the Reds with a three-run homer to right field.
Tom Cingrani improved to 3-and-0 in substitute of Reds' ace Johnny Cueto, who could make his next scheduled start on Sunday after missing time with an injured shoulder.
The Reds are 39-and-26 and have won 18 of their last 21 games against Chicago. The Cubs are 25-and-37 and host Cincinnati this afternoon at 2:20.
