(Cincinnati, OH) In the National League Wednesday, Brandon Phillips drove in the game winning run in the bottom of-the-thirteenth inning, giving the Cincinnati Reds a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates at Great American Ballpark.
Derrick Robinson and Shin-Soo Choo singled with one-out in the Reds half of the 13th.
The Pirates intentionally walked Joey Votto, and Phillips drove a ball up the middle for a walk off single.
Jay Bruce tied the game in the bottom of-the-ninth with his 14th home run of the season, a solo shot to right field off of Pirates' closer Jason Grilli.
Cincinnati is 44-and-29 and host Pittsburgh this afternoon at 12:35.
