(Indianapolis, IN) - Former Pacers’ assistant Brian Shaw was introduced as head coach of the Denver Nuggets at a press conference in Denver Tuesday.
Shaw landed the first head coaching job of his career after interviewing for a dozen of positions over the years.
He replaces George Karl, who was fired after the Nuggets were eliminated from the Western Conference Playoffs in the first round.
Frank Vogel has already started the search for the Pacers next top assistant, and according to the Indianapolis Star, met with former Portland Trailblazers head coach Nate McMillan at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday.
