(Minneapolis, MN) - In the American League Thursday, the Minnesota Twins completed a three game sweep of the Chicago White Sox with an 8-4 win at Target Field in Minneapolis.
In the second inning, Brian Dozier homered for the second time in two games with a blast the made it 3-0 Twins.
Clete Thomas and Eduardo Escobar hit back-to-back home runs in the fourth inning to give Minnesota a 5-to-1 lead.
The White Sox trailed 6-1 in the sixth when Paul Konerko hit a two-run shot to left field.
Adam Dunn made it back-to-back home runs with his 19th homer of the season in cutting the Twins' lead to 6-3.
Chicago is 29-41 and play at the Kansas City Royals tonight at 8:10.
