(Minneapolis, MN) - In the American League Wednesday, the Minnesota Twins homered twice in beating the Chicago White Sox 7-4 at Target Field in Minneapolis.
Brian Dozier hit a three-run blast in the second inning that gave the Twins a 3-1 lead, and Justin Morneau hit a two-run shot in the sixth that made it 7-1 Twins.
Chicago rallied in the late innings on RBI singles from Dayan Viciedo and Adam Dunn, but Glen Perkins threw a perfect ninth in notching his 18th save of the season.
The White Sox are 29-40 and play the Twins this afternoon at 1:10.
