(Oakland, CA) - In Major League Baseball Sunday, the Oakland A’s homered twice to rally past the St. Louis Cardinals 7-5 at the Coliseum in Oakland.
Jed Lowrie gave the A's their first lead of the game with a two-run blast in the fourth inning, and Josh Donaldson added an insurance run in the seventh with a solo shot that made it 7-5.
The Cardinals fell two-games behind the surging Pittsburgh Pirates for first place in the N-L Central after leading the division most of the season.
The Cardinals are 49-32 and begin a series at the Los Angeles Angels tomorrow night.
