(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League Wednesday, the Toronto Blue Jays held off the Cleveland Indians 5-4 after a wild ninth inning at Progressive Field.
The Blue Jays scored three-runs in the top of-the-ninth on a single by second baseman Munenori Kawasaki in grabbing a 5-2 lead.
Asdrubal Cabrera had an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth for the Indians and scored later in the inning on a throwing error by Kawasaki.
Steve Delabar entered the game for the Blue Jays and recorded the last out of the inning for his first save of the season.
The Blue Jays and Indians play this afternoon at 12:05.
