(Seattle, WA) - In Major League Baseball Sunday, the Chicago Cubs held off a three home run rally by the Seattle Mariners to win 7-6 at Safeco Field in Seattle.
The Cubs led 7-2 when Jason Bay connected for a solo home run off of Cubs' reliever Shawn Camp.
Raul Ibanez homered in the eighth inning to make it 7-4, and Kyle Seager followed two-batters later with a two-run shot that made it 7-6.
Kevin Gregg struck out two in the ninth inning to record his thirteenth save of the season for the Cubs.
Edwin Jackson improved to 4-10 after giving up three-runs in six-innings pitched.
The Cubs are 35-45 and play at the Oakland A's tomorrow night.
