(Detroit, MI) - In the American League Thursday, Josh Phegley hit a grand slam in leading the Chicago White Sox to a 6-3 win over the first place Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.
Phegley's go ahead home run was just his fourth hit of the season and came off of Tigers' starter Anibal Sanchez in the sixth inning.
Miguel Cabrera became the first major leaguer to hit 30 home runs and have 90 RBIs before the all star break when he homered in the fifth inning.
The White Sox are 36-53 and play the Philadelphia Phillies tonight.
First pitch from PNC Park is at 7:05.
