(Atlanta, GA) - In the National League Thursday, Braves’ first baseman Freddie Freeman celebrated his first All-Star appearance by driving in four-runs during Atlanta’s 6-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds at Turner Field.
Freeman received a major league record 19-million votes in holding off rookie phenom Yasiel Puig for the final spot on the National League roster.
Mat Latos fell to 8-3 in his second worst outing of the year after giving up six-runs in four-innings pitched.
Cincinnati is 51-41 and play the Braves tonight at 7:30.
