(Chicago, IL) - In the American League, Alex Gordon homered in the twelfth inning for the Kansas City Royals to sink the White Sox 4-2 at US Cellular Field yesterday.
Gordon's eventual game winner gave the Royals their sixth consecutive victory and a three-game road sweep over the White Sox.
Adam Dunn tied the game in the sixth inning for Chicago with a solo home run, his 25th of the season.
Chicago is 40-62 and have lost six of their last seven games.
They visit the Indians tonight at 7:05.
