(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League, The Cleveland Indians finished a home sweep of the Texas Rangers with a 6-0 win at Progressive Field yesterday.
Ubaldo Jimenez allowed two-hits in eight shutout innings pitched in improving to 8-5.
The Indians are 56-48 after sweeping the Rangers for the first time since 1980.
They trail the Tigers by three-games for first place in the AL Central division and host the White Sox tonight at 7:05.
