(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League, Jason Giambi hit a walk off home run in leading the Cleveland Indians past the Chicago White Sox 3-2 at Progressive Field last night.
Giambi blasted a pinch hit, home run over the centerfield wall in the ninth to give the Indians their fifth straight win over their AL Central division rivals.
Zach McAllister pitched seven-innings and gave up two-runs for the Indians, who pulled within two and-a-half games for first in the AL Central with a 57-48 record.
The White Sox fall to 40-63 with their seventh loss in eight games.
The two teams play again tonight at 7:05.
