(undated) - In the National League, Junior Lake hit his first career home run in powering the Chicago Cubs past the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-2 at Chase Field Monday.
The 23-year old rookie short stop finished with four-hits and three RBIs on the night, including a two-run blast in the fifth inning that made it 3-0.
Chris Rusin made the start for Matt Garza, who was traded to the Texas Rangers before the game.
Rusin won for the first time this season in holding the Diamondbacks to two-runs in five-innings pitched.
The Cubs are 44-53 on the year and play Arizona at 9:40 tonight.
