(Chicago, IL) - In the National League Sunday, Yadier Molina hit a three-run homer in the top of-the-ninth inning to lift the St. Louis Cardinals over the Chicago Cubs, 10-6 at Wrigley Field.
Allen Craig put the Cardinals ahead in the ninth with his fourth hit of the game, a tiebreaking RBI single off of Cubs' closer Kevin Gregg.
Molina homered later in the inning to cap a four-hit, four-RBI night at the plate.
Darwin Barney hit a three-run shot in the sixth inning and went 3-4 with four-RBIs for the Cubs, who improved to 42-51 on the season after splitting the four-game series with St. Louis.
The Cardinals have the best record in baseball at 57-36. Both teams are off until Friday because of the All-Star break.
