(San Diego, CA) - In the National League, the San Diego Padres beat the Cincinnati Reds 2-1 on a walk-off home run at Petco Park early this morning.
Aroldis Chapman was trying for his 25th save of the season with a 1-0 lead in the bottom of-the-ninth.
Chris Denorfia launched a 100 mile-per-hour fast ball from Chapman over the centerfield wall for a two-run homer and a win for the Padres.
Chapman's fourth blown save of the season was his first since June 22nd.
The Reds are 59-and-48 and play in San Diego tonight at 10:10.
