(BOSTON) - Brad Stevens has been introduced at the new Head Coach of the Boston Celtics.
The 36-year old was introduced Friday at Celtics training center.
Stevens says he's aware of many college coaches who made the transition to the NBA, but failed to succeed, like Rick Pitino in his stint with the Celtics. But he says each situation is different. He says he looked for people on the same page and who believe in supporting each other, and he says he found that in Boston.
Stevens says he's in awe of the Celtics organization, and his honored and flattered to join the organization.
Stevens was 166-49 in six seasons with the Bulldogs, including back to back trips to the NCAA Championship game.
