(Atlanta, GA) - Casper Wells robbed the Atlanta Braves of a game tying home run in the eighth inning and the Chicago White Sox held on for a 3-1 win over the Braves at Turner Field Sunday.
Wells reached up and snagged a drive by Reed Johnson in the bottom of-the-eighth to preserve the series win for Chicago over the National League East leaders.
Alex Rios had an RBI single for the White Sox in the third inning and finished the weekend set with 7 RBIs on six-hits.
Chicago is 39-56 and host the first place Tigers tonight at 8:10.
