(Chicago, IL) - In the American League Wednesday, Chris Davis homered and later hit a tiebreaking double to rally the Baltimore Orioles past the Chicago White Sox 4-to-2 at US Cellular Field.
Davis broke a 2-to-2 tie in the eighth inning with a two run double and hit his major league best 32nd home run of the season earlier in the game.
Adam Dunn and Gordon Beckham each drove in runs for the White Sox and Hector Santiago struck out nine in seven-innings for the no decision.
Chicago is 33-and-48 and host the Orioles today at 2:10.
