(Brooklyn, MI) - Stewart-Haas racing has selected Austin Dillon as Tony Stewart’s replacement driver at Michigan International Speedway this weekend.
Dillon is a full time driver in the Nationwide Series and finished 11th in the first Sprint Cup race at Michigan back in June.
Stewart is out indefinitely after breaking his leg during a sprint car race in Iowa last week, and is resting at his home in Columbus Indiana after undergoing multiple surgeries to fix his leg.
The team has not announced a substitute for Stewart after the race at Michigan.
