(Chicago, IL) - All-Star Chris Sale went the distance for the Chicago White Sox during a 6-to-2 win over the first place Detroit Tigers at U-S Cellular Field Monday.
Sale recovered from a couple of runs early in the game to finish all nine-innings in pitching the fifth complete game of his career.
Tigers' third baseman Miguel Cabrera homered for the 37th time this season, his fourth home run in four games, and raised his major league best RBI total to 111.
The White Sox are in last place in the AL Central division at 45-and-72 and host the Tigers at 8:10 tonight.
