(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts acquired wide receiver David Reed from the Baltimore Ravens yesterday in exchange for running back Delone Carter.
Reed was Baltimore's primary kick returner during his rookie season in 2010 and led the NFL with an average of nearly 30-yards per return.
He set a then-franchise record for longest kick return for a touchdown with a 103-yard score to open the second half of the 2010 season.
Reed lost his job after tearing his ACL, an injury that caused him to miss the last two-games of the 2011 season and the first 11 of 12 games in 2012.
The Colts host the Browns Saturday night in the third preseason contest. Kickoff from Lucas Oil Stadium is at 7:00.
