(St. Louis, MO) - In the National League, the Los Angeles Dodgers routed the St. Louis Cardinals 13-4 at Busch Stadium Wednesday.
Cardinals' starting pitcher Shelby Miller threw two pitches in the first inning before leaving the game with an elbow contusion.
Miller was later optimistic on the chances of taking his turn in the rotation in five days.
Jake Westbrook entered the game in second inning and was tuned-up for nine-runs and 13 hits.
The Cardinals are 66-47 and host the Dodgers at tonight at 8:15.
