Five Races Until NASCAR's Chase Begins

(Watkins Glen, NY) - Five races remain until the NASCAR’s Chase for the Sprint Cup begins at Chicagoland Speedway.

Sprint Cup drivers will compete this weekend at Watkins Glen International, a two and-a-half mile road course that spans 220-miles in 90-laps.

Tony Stewart has the best driver rating at "The Glen" but is out indefinitely with a broken leg .

The Columbus, Indiana native has needed two operations on his leg following a crash during a sprint car race in Iowa Monday.

Jimmie Johnson is first in points, followed by Clint Bowyer and Carl Edwards.

Jeff Gordon is ninth in points and Ryan Newman is 15th.

The Cheez-It 355 is Sunday 1:00.
