(Watkins Glen, NY) - In NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series yesterday, Kyle Busch outdueled Brad Keselowski in a two-lap dash for the checkered flag to win the road race at Watkins Glen.
Keselowski came in second for the third straight time at Watkins Glen and is currently eighth in points and safely in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
Martin Truex Junior came in third, Carl Edwards fourth, and Juan Pablo Montoya finished fifth. South Bend's Ryan Newman finished 14th, Dale Earnhardt Junior came in 30th, and Jeff Gordon finished in 36th.
Max Papis came in 15th place in relief of Tony Stewart, who is out indefinitely with a broken leg.
There are four races left until the chase starts, including next weekend's event at Michigan International Speedway.
